Key Eligibility for OIO Consent: Consent is generally granted if the following criteria are met:

Visa Status: The investor holds an AIP, Investor 1, or Investor 2 visa.

Ownership: The investor does not already own residential land under these specific rules.

Value Threshold: The purchase price (or combined purchase and build cost) exceeds NZ$5m.

Proven Track Record:
Large-Scale Property Development
Since December 2023, I have spearheaded the acquisition and comprehensive development of a 2,000 +ha estate in the South Island.
My role encompassed the entire lifecycle of the investment:

Infrastructure & Redevelopment: Managed the large-scale redevelopment of roading networks and the implementation of extensive forestry programs.

Project Leadership: Oversight of all contractors and on-site staff, ensuring complex projects—including pond construction and residential development—remained strictly within budget and timeline expectations.
